Peak Marquee – Recent Activities

Hello and welcome to our first blog post of 2024.  We have been so incredibly busy that we just don’t know where the time has gone… although, come to think of it, maybe we do.  Read on to discover all the fantastic activities we have been part of recently; whilst we take a breath and start planning a much-needed holiday.  Phew…

Snowdon is keeping us busy!

We are thrilled to announce our participation in the Ultra-Trail Snowdonia 2024 event, set to take place from May 10th to May 12th!

We’re proud to be supplying ten marquees to accommodate stakeholders and sponsors, as well as crucial areas like registration zones, merchandise hubs, and aid stations along the scenic routes.

With the event being completely sold out and boasting around 4000 passionate runners ready to tackle the challenging trails over three action-packed days, our team at Peak Marquee Hire is gearing up to ensure every aspect of this extraordinary event is covered with our exceptional marquees. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the big day! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️✨https://snowdonia.utmb.world/

Next up, we are at the Snowdon International Fell Race on the 20th July, which promises to be an exciting event and we are delighted to be a part of it.

Following on from there, we are providing marquees for the Snowdon Marathon on the 26th of October.  The race starts and finishes in Llanberis, and we can’t wait to cheer on all the amazing participants.

Did you know that we are sponsoring an amazing rugby team?

We are thrilled to once again support Denbigh Rugby Club’s under 12’s team! It’s always a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant community, and we’re proud to see our logo on the team’s t-shirts. This year, we’re stepping up our game by donating a stunning stretch tent for their end of season event on the 13th of July.

As a company deeply rooted in our local community, we understand the importance of fostering camaraderie and celebrating achievements. We believe that providing the perfect setting for the Denbigh Rugby Club’s end of season event is just one small way we can contribute to their success. We can’t wait to see the team, their families, and supporters come together under our stretch tent to celebrate another fantastic season of rugby!

🌟 Calling all dynamic women in Denbighshire! 🌟

Haf has been super busy connecting women in business around Denbighshire, who are looking to expand their network, gain valuable support, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Part of the super-successful Network She franchise, Haf founded the Denbighshire group in February 2024. The networking group was born out of a need for more opportunities for women in business right here in Denbighshire. As a local entrepreneur herself, Haf understands the challenges we face and the importance of having a strong support system. That’s why the group isn’t just about exchanging referrals—it’s about fostering a supportive community where we can share knowledge, resources, and solutions to overcome any obstacles we encounter on our entrepreneurial journeys.

Want to join us?

Whether you’re a seasoned business owner or just starting out, Haf’s events offer a welcoming environment where you can build meaningful connections and empower each other to reach new heights of success.  The next event is on the Tuesday 16th of April at The White House in Rhuallt.  Attendance is free for Network She members, or just £5 for non-members—a small investment with potentially huge returns for your business.

To secure your spot at our next meeting, visit the Eventbrite link below. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to join a dynamic community of women supporting women in Denbighshire. See you there!

We achieved our Bronze Award for the Armed Forces Covenant

Brett is an armed forces veteran, so it goes without saying that we’re deeply committed to supporting our armed forces community.  Here we are pictured at the recent FSB Business awards night with a representative from the Royal Welsh.  We are so pleased to have achieved our bronze award under the Armed Forces Covenant and are now setting our sights on attaining the silver award.

Our dedication to the covenant is more than just a pledge; it’s ingrained in our company culture. From actively recruiting staff through armed forces recruitment sites to sharing job opportunities across various forces forums and online groups, we’re continuously striving to create meaningful employment opportunities for veterans and serving personnel.

But our support doesn’t stop there. Brett personally takes part in the annual British Legion appeal, selling poppies to honour the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. And now, we’re excited to announce a collaborative initiative: the creation of a veteran’s breakfast group in the Denbigh area. This gathering will provide a supportive space for veterans to connect, share experiences, and build a strong sense of camaraderie within our community. Stay tuned for further details in our next blog post!

We believe in giving back to those who have served our country selflessly. Join us in our mission to support and honour our armed forces community. Together, we can make a difference.  If you would like to find out more about the Covenant, please see this link to the official website https://www.armedforcescovenant.gov.uk/

Our boy is making us proud!

Our son Bryn is currently honing his skills over at Shorecliffe Training in Denbigh, and we couldn’t be prouder. He’s diving into a world of forklift finesse with their in-house counterbalance forklift truck training, ensuring that our equipment is stored safely and every delivery and setup is handled with precision and care.

But wait, there’s more! We’re not just about heavy lifting; we’re also serious about safety and expertise. That’s why Bryn and the rest of our team are diving into the UK’s first industry-standard e-learning course for marquee erectors, accredited with MUTA Instruct. It’s all about staying ahead of the game and ensuring that every marquee we put up is not just a structure, but a testament to our commitment to excellence. And hey, while we’re at it, our staff are also brushing up on their annual manual handling courses because we believe that knowledge is power, and safety is paramount. So, when you choose Peak Marquee Hire, you’re not just getting a tent – you’re getting a team that’s dedicated to making your event unforgettable, one safe and sturdy marquee at a time.! 🎪🔧

Wishing you all the best, from Brett, Haf and the team here at Peak Marquee Hire.
